Biographical Information

Chikayoshi Honda signed with the Nagoya in 1940, and he was 4-for-21 in his first season. He was a player-manager in 1941, and he hit .165/.333/.191 in 50 games; the Nagoya club was 24-32. Honda recorded a .194/.330/.251 batting line in 65 games in 1942, and he led his team to a 39-60 record. He left the team after that season.
