Biographical Information

Chih-Yu Chen represented Taiwan in the 2022 U-18 Baseball World Cup and 2024 Haarlem Baseball Week. He then made it onto Taiwan's roster for the 2025 Asian Championship, and he went 1-for-2 with a double against Paul Baba of Palestine. He went 0-for-1 versus South Korea, and he hit a double against Chun-Pui Mok of Hong Kong. Chen went 2-for-2 against against China, and he was Taiwan's starting left fielder in the Gold Medal Game against Japan. However, he was hitless in 3 at-bats, and Japan beat Taiwan to win Gold.
