Biographical Information[edit]
Chase Gerbrick began his collegiate playing career at Lipscomb University in 2023 before arm injuries forced him to retire. Gerbrick then transferred to Indiana Wesleyan University in fall 2023 where he became the youngest coach in collegiate baseball history when he served as the Wildcats' Director of Player Development.[1]
The New York Yankees hired Gerbrick in 2024 as a defensive and baserunning coach for the FCL Yankees. They promoted him to manager of the DSL Bombers in 2025. Gerbrick jumped three minor league levels in 2026 while serving as a defensive coach for the Hudson Valley Renegades.
