Biographical Information[edit]
Charline Merlhe was on the French women's national team at the 2025 European Women's Championship. She debuting against champion Great Britain, relieving Camille Foucher in the third with a 8-0 deficit. She began by retiring Artie Herbert and Laura Hirai but then walked Darier Malone and plunked Laura Bailes. Saskia Davies singled in a run but Bailes was thrown out trying to score. In the 4th, she yielded four runs on two hits and three hit batsmen while retiring two before giving way to Alexandra Vigneau. She also allowed two runs in 1/3 IP versus the Czech Republic. France won the Bronze. She tied Jessica Kroeskop, Anouk Vergunst and Cassandra Vigneau for 4th in runs allowed and tied Kroeskop and Vergunst for second in earned runs (one behind Oona Ylinen). Her five hit batsmen tied Kroeskop for the most. [1]
