Biographical Information

Charlie Collins has represented Australia and Great Britain in international competitions.

Born in Britain, he grew up in Australia. He was with Australia for the 2018 U-15 Baseball World Cup but did not get into a game. He played briefly for the Melbourne Aces (0 for 2) and Canberra Cavalry (0 for 3) in the 2020-2021 Australian Baseball League. He hit .278/.350/.333 for Britain in the 2024 U-23 Baseball World Cup.

After starting his college career at Odessa College, he hit a whopping .393/.481/.577 with 73 runs and 65 RBI in 62 games at Southeastern in 2025. He made All-The Sun Conference in the outfield. He was back with the Brits for the 2025 European Championship, serving as their primary center fielder. He debuted as their cleanup hitter and singled off the Dutch national team's Tom de Blok to drive in their first run of the tournament in his first trip to the plate. He finished 6-for-14 with 3 walks, 2 hit-by-pitch, 2 doubles, a steal, 3 runs and 2 RBI in five games, though he made two errors in six chances. He led Britain in OBP (.060 ahead of Julian Sanders) and trailed only Sanders in hits, average, slugging and OPS on that squad. He was 6th in the event in OBP.
