Biographical Information

Catcher Charlie Bennett played in the minor leagues from 1958 to 1961 for the Johnson City Phillies (1958), Tampa Tarpons (1959), Missoula Timberjacks (1960) and Tri-City Atoms (1961). He hit .177, .130 and .244 his first three seasons, respectively, but managed a .357/.500/.571 line (in 14 at-bats) his final campaign.

Overall, he hit .222/.324/.348 with 8 home runs and 62 RBI in 157 games.
