Biographical Information[edit]
Byeong-joon Kim has played in Korea Baseball Organization.
Kim was drafted by the KT Wiz in the 9th round of the 2022 KBO draft, and he played 2 games for the big club in 2023.[1] He was 5-for-14 in 2024, and he had a 1-for-5 record in 2025. Kim then represented South Korea in the 2025 Asian Championship. He was 2-for-3 with a RBI triple against Yui-Fung Wong of Hong Kong, and he was 1-for-3 versus Chinese Taipei. Kim was hitless in 5 at-bats versus Palestine, and he had a 3-for-5 record with 3 runs scored versus China. He then went 1-for-3 against Japan, and he was their starting center fielder in the Bronze Medal game. Kim went 2-for-3 with a run scored, and Korea beat China to won Bronze. He tied for 5th in the tourney with 6 runs and his 9 hits tied Hyeon-jun Ryu for third. He was 7th in average (between Anson Fung and Luke Shahin) and tied Tae-kyung Lee for third with 3 steals.
