Biographical Information[edit]
Buck Rogers was a pitcher and outfielder who appeared in two games for the Washington Senators in 1935. A native of Spring Garden, VA, he attended the University of Virginia and began his professional career with the Harrisburg Senators before reaching Washington in September 1935.
Rogers played in the minor leagues with the York White Roses, Trenton Senators, Brockville Pirates, Albany Senators, Wilkes-Barre Barons, Spartanburg Spartans, Portsmouth Cubs, and South Boston Wrappers. He later coached baseball at the College of William and Mary in 1949.[1] He died in Winston-Salem, NC in 1999.
