Biographical Information[edit]
Brian Edgerly played for the US and in the minors.
He played hockey and soccer in addition to baseball in college. [1] He was with the US for the 1964 Olympics baseball demonstration. [2] He was taken by the Boston Red Sox in the 17th round of the 1965 amateur draft, one round before Ray Jarvis. He hit .221/.269/.320 as a OF/1B for the 1965 Waterloo Hawks then batted .212/.294/.283 for the '66 Hawks.
