Pitcher Brett Kerry was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 5th round of the 2021 amateur draft, out of the University of South Carolina. This was the draft in which the Angels selected a pitcher with each of their 20 picks.
He reached the majors with the Angels during the 2026 season, making his debut on June 17th by pitching 4 innings in relief and giving up 2 runs in an 8-1 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks
