Biographical Information

Branden Noriega has pitched in the minors and for the Great Britain national team.

Noriega was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 11th round of the 2022 Amateur Draft; the scout was Ralph Reyes. He was on Britain's roster for the 2023 World Baseball Classic, but he didn't pitch any games. Noriega then went 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA for the ACL Cubs in 2023, and he had a 9.42 ERA in 7 appearances for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. He struggled again in 2024 as his ERA was 11.64 in 15 appearances in the ACL, and he allowed 4 runs in 4 1/3 innings with the Pelicans.
