Biographical Information[edit]
Shortstop Binky Jones came up for 10 games with the Brooklyn Robins in 1924. Although he was not successful as a hitter in his short major league stint, he often hit .300 or close to .300 in the minors during a career from 1919-1930.
The regular shortstop for the Brooklyn Robins when he was with the team was Johnny Mitchell.
