Biographical Information[edit]

Billy Plante represented the USA in the 1984 Amateur World Series. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 20th round of the 1985 Amateur Draft, and he hit .182/.292/.277 in 44 games for the Elmira Pioneers in his first season. He played 24 games with a .184/.359/.286 batting line for the Greensboro Hornets in 1986, and his professional career ended.
