Biographical Information

Pitcher Austin Platt began his professional career in 2011.

He was taken by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 26th round of the 2011 amateur draft and began his professional career with ERAs of 9.75 and 6.39. In 2013, his mark was 2.62 in 79 innings for the Hillsboro Hops, but it was 6.56 the next year. The Diamondbacks released him in October of that year.
