Biographical Information

Atsushi Kubota was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 6th round of the 1999 NPB draft, and he didn't reach the big club before the Tigers traded him to the Orix BlueWave in 2001. Kubota's ERA was 9.58 in 7 games in 2002, and he announced his retirement after he pitched 7 games with a 7.59 ERA in 2003.
