Biographical Information[edit]
Arthur Gilliard pitched with several independent Black baseball teams for parts of six seasons from 1909 to 1914, including the Birmingham Giants, St. Louis Giants, French Lick Plutos and Chicago American Giants.[1]
For the seasons for which Seamheads has data available, Gilliard had a 8-9 win-loss record with a 3.68 earned run average in 25 documented games. [2]
