Biographical Information[edit]

Andy High pitched in the minor leagues and for the USA national team.

High began his professional career with the independent Bangor Blue Ox, and he was 7-3 with a 3.88 ERA in 1996. He went 3-4 with a 4.61 ERA in 1997, and he had a 4-2 record with a 2.77 ERA in 23 games in 1998 for the New Jersey Jackals. High went 4-3 with a 4.25 ERA in 1999, and he represented the USA in the 1999 Intercontinental Cup. He then notched 4 saves with a 1-6 record and a 3.23 ERA in [[2000], and he also pitched 7 games with a 0.90 ERA for the Atlantic City Surf. He was 9-2 with a 3.20 ERA there in 2001, and the Milwaukee Brewers signed him. High went 2-1 with a 2.12 ERA for the AA Huntsville Stars in the rest of the season, and his ERA was 2.84 in 16 games in 2002. He also pitched 12 games with a 4.11 ERA for the High Desert Mavericks, and he left the Brewers system. High returned to the Surf, and he was 10-8 with a 3.79 ERA in 2003. He went 2-1 with a 3.44 ERA in 2004, and he only pitched 6 games with a 1.04 ERA in 2005. High had a 7-7 record with a 3.94 ERA in 25 starts in 2006, and he announced his retirement.
