Biographical Information

The Chicago Cubs signed infielder Andrws Cruz to a free agent contract in late 2020 and he played in their minor league system from 2021-2024. He spent all four seasons with the DSL Cubs Red. After retiring, he returned to the same team in 2025 as an assistant coach. Cruz wasn't originally announced as a coach, but he was listed on their end-of-season roster. He was then a coach for the DSL Cubs Blue in 2026.
