Biographical Information[edit]
Anders Dzurak was a starting pitcher at St. Olaf College from 2010-2013 where he earned a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education. While still a student, he began coaching at baseball training academies and for American Legion Baseball teams in Minnesota. These efforts are detailed on his LinkedIn profile and lasted from 2012-2019.[1]
From 2014 through 2019, Dzurak also coached at the college level. He was a volunteer assistant coach for Macalester College in 2014 and Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2015. Dzurak returned to St. Olaf as an assistant coach for the 2016-2017 seasons. He worked with the Oles pitchers during his tenure. Dzurak went back to college for the next two years at Northern State University and earned a master's in Education, Sports Performance, and Leadership. He also worked with the baseball team as a graduate assistant coach. Dzurak made a final college coaching stop in the fall of 2019 as an assistant coach at Briar Cliff University.
The Minnesota Twins hired Dzurak away from Briar Cliff in 2020 and he served as the organization's rehab pitching coach from 2020-2022. Dzurak returned to on-field coaching as a pitching coach for the FCL Twins in 2023-2024 and Fort Myers Mighty Mussels in 2025. Dzurak moved to the Chicago White Sox' chain as pitching coach of the ACL White Sox in 2026.
