Biographical Information[edit]
Al Long played in the minor leagues and in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Long was 1-2 with a 4.89 ERA for the Independence Yankees in 1949, and he also pitched 4 games for the Joplin Miners. He signed with the Nishitetsu Lions in 1953, and he was 2-0 with a 1.74 ERA in 3 starts. Long then went 3-7 with a 4.50 ERA for the Hot Springs Bathers in 1954, and his professional career ended.
