Biographical Information

Akira Okamura was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 6th round of the 1965 NPB draft, but he refused to sign and joined Kawai Musical Instruments of the industrial league. He signed with the Hankyu Braves in 1968, and he only played one game before he announced his retirement in 1969
