Biographical Information

Akira Igarashi was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 4th round of the 1987 NPB draft, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues until the Fighters traded him to the Chunichi Dragons for Kiyoshi Yamanaka in 1991. He allowed 10 runs in 5 2/3 innings in 1992, and he announced his retirement in 1993.
