Biographical Information

Aito Takeda has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Takeda was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 4th round of the 2015 NPB draft. He spent his first three seasons primarily in the NPB Farm Leagues, and he only played 11 games combined with the big club. Takeda played 42 games with the big club in 2019, but he only hit .151/.196/.170. He then stayed in the minors for most of the 2020 season, and he was 2-for-13 in the major league. He improved to .219/.265/.377 with 8 homers in 2021, and he collected 19 doubles and 9 homers with a .243/.266/.369 batting line in 2022. Takeda then hit .214/.228/.331 with 4 homers in 2023, and the Chiba Lotte Marines selected him in the 2023 NPB Active draft. Takeda slumped to .188/.243/.217 in 2024 after changing teams.
