Biographical Information[edit]
A.J. Lewandowski was a college coach. He played baseball, basketball, football and track in college, one of the rare four-sport athletes in Nebraska Cornhusker history. He coached basketball at the University of Montana and at Nebraska. During World War II, he coached Nebraska's football, basketball and baseball (1942) teams to fill in for coaches serving in the military. He remained as athletic director.
