2026 Confederation Cup

The 2026 Confederation Cup was held in Karlovac, Croatia from June 15 to June 20, 2026; it replaced the European Champions Cup as Europe's second-biggest club event (after the Baseball Champions League Europe) as the continent continued to shuffle event names (the European Cup now becoming a lesser event).

June 15

• Brasschaat Braves 5, Rouen Huskies 4. Harry Deliyannis went the distance to defeat Arthur Magnien, 43-year-old Steven De Lannoy going deep for the Belgians while LF Martin Vissac homers for the French team.
• Olimpija Karlovac 7, Savigny Lions 3. Adrian Peña carries a 3-2 lead into the bottom of the 9th and Tom Dahan enters to save it, but Karlovac explodes for five runs, capped by a grand slam by 3B Jose Herrera, who drives in 6 runs today. That makes a victor out of his fellow Venezuelan, Carlos García.

June 16

• Hroši Brno 5, Rouen Huskies 4. Rouen again takes a 5-4 loss, SS Vítězslav Nový and DH Ryan Johnson each having three hits for Brno to back the pitching of Jesús Castillo and Matthew Malconian. Ryusuke Ito suffers the loss.
• Brasschaat Braves 18, Savigny Lions 8. CF Steven De Lannoy continues to show no signs of age with 4 hits and 5 RBI, SS Harry Deliyannis scoring five times. Raf Cocu pitches 1 1/3 shutout innings of relief for the win after his predecessors yielded 8 runs in 5 2/3. It is 6-5 entering the bottom of the 5th before the Braves put together a 12-run frame. Gédéon Coste gives up 17 hits in the loss while a 3-run pinch-hit homer by 1B Lilian Amoros is the big hit for Savigny.

June 17

• Rouen Huskies 22, Savigny Lions 7. The two French teams square off as Rouen cruises, Esteban Prioul topping Joss Neyraud. SS Théo Rioux (4 RBI), 3B Louis Brainville (4 RBI), 1B Oscar Lebouc (4 R) and DH Hugo Blondel (4 H, 4 RBI) all hit well for Rouen; Ivan Acuña paces Savigny with 3 RBI.
• Hroši Brno 14, Olimpija Karlovac 4. SS Vítězslav Nový has another big day, driving in four, and Matthew Malconian strikes out 7 in 3 2/3 shutout innings of relief to beat Ron Karin. LF Kevin Volarić raps 3 hits for the hosts.

June 18

• Hroši Brno 7, Savigny Lions 2. Daniel Sobotka and Ondřej Navrátil strike out 10 with four of their teammates each getting 3 hits as they remain unbeaten and Savigny goes winless. Ivan Acuña gets the loss.
• Brasschaat Braves 7, Olimpija Karlovac 4. SS Harry Deliyannis has five hits and then moves to the mound to save Raf Cocu's win over Carlos García. 3B Jose Herrera had three hits for Karlovac.

June 19

• Brasschaat Braves 11, Hroši Brno 5. The Braves finish the round-robin unbeaten as 3B/P Lucas Scott has four hits, four RBI and saves the win for Stefan Leo. 1B Thomas De Wolf adds three hits and three runs. Mathias Schwarzinger is handed the defeat.
• Rouen Huskies 2, Olimpija Jarlovac 1. The Japanese duo of Yui Taido and Ryusuke Ito strike out ten to win a pitching duel, Jose Diaz getting the loss after he balks in LF Martin Vissac with the winning run in the bottom of the 8th; Vissac had a game-high three hits.

June 20

• Hroši Brno 11, Brasschaat Braves 4. Brasschaat was unbeaten entering the title game but Brno went to town on Harry Deliyannis today, while Lukáš Pacal allows only one run in five. SS SS Vítězslav Nový has three hits on his way to claiming the MVP award; 3B Jan Pospíšil has four hits. CF Steven De Lannoy has 3 hits in a losing effort.
