Biographical Information[edit]
Yuto Yoshida represented Japan in the 2013 World Junior Championship. He struck out against the US's Luis Ortiz to end the title game but hit .364/.475/.455 as Japan's starting right fielder. He had nine runs and six walks in nine games. He tied Ha-seong Kim and others for 4th in runs and tied for 7th in walks. The Orix Buffaloes selected him on the 5th round of the 2013 NPB draft, but he only got 14 at-bats combined for the big club before he announced his retirement in 2018.
