Biographical Information

Yuto Kawamura has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Kawamura was drafted by the Softbank Hawks in the 2nd round of the development phase in the 2021 NPB draft; the scout was Kazuhide Sakuyama. He stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first two seasons, and he hit .256/.356/.282 in 15 games for the Gigantes de Carolina after the 2023 season. Kawamura became one of Softbank's starting outfielders in 2024, and he played 88 games with a .268/.336/.390 batting line. However, he was 1-for-9 in 2025, and he mainly stayed in the minor league.
