Biographical Information

Yuta Saitoh has pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Saitoh was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the first round of the 2022 NPB draft; the scout was Yoshihisa Kondo. His ERA was 4.02 in 5 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2023, and he pitched 7 games with a 6.11 ERA there in 2024. Saitoh made his NPB debut on May 2, 2025, and he completed a shutout inning.

Saitoh's repertoire included a fastball (peak 96.9 mph), curveball, slider and forkball.
