Biographical Information

Yuta Nakazaki was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the first round of the 2008 NPB draft, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues for his first three seasons. He also went 0-2 with a 13.89 ERA for the Melbourne Aces in the 2012-2013 ABL. Nakazaki had a 9.31 ERA in 7 games in 2013, and he returned to the minors. He then pitched 8 games with a 6.00 ERA in 2016, and the Lions released him. His brother Shota Nakazaki also played in NPB.
