Biographical Information

Yusuke Nishimiya was drafted by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the 5th round of the 2013 NPB draft, and he had a 3.17 ERA in 46 relief outings in 2014. His ERA rose to 8.49 in 13 games in 2015, and he went 3-0 with a 4.44 ERA in 29 appearances in 2016. Nishimura only pitched 15 games combined in the next two seasons, and he announced his retirement in 2019 after having a 7.71 ERA in 14 appearances.
