Biographical Information

Yusei Ishizuka has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Ishizuka represented Japan in the 2024 BFA U-18 Baseball Championship, and he hit .294/.455/.471 to help Japan win Silver. The Yomiuri Giants and Seibu Lions selected him in the first round of the 2024 NPB draft after they lost the lottery in their previous selection, and the Giants won the lottery for the rights to him; the scout was Toyokazu Oba. Ishizuka hit .327/.432/.459 in 55 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2025, but he was 1-for-9 with the top team, his hit coming off Shogo Tamamura.
