Biographical Information

Yukio Saiga signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1964, and he was 1-for-2 in his first season. He hit .184/.244/.289 in 24 games in 1965, and he was 8-for-30 in 1967. Saiga didn't reach the big club in 1968, and he announced his retirement.
