Biographical Information

Yukio Otsubo signed with the Nankai Hawks in 1980, and he stayed in the minors in his first two seasons. He had a 4.95 ERA in 9 games in 1983, and he only pitched 3 games in 1984. Otsubo then recorded a 5.11 ERA in 12 relief outings in 1985, and he only got 2 more appearances before he announced his retirement in 1989.
