Biographical Information

Yukio Kurosaka was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 2nd round of the 1973 NPB draft, but he refused to sign and joined the Saginomiya Seisakusho in the industrial league. The Yakult Swallows picked him in the 4th round of the 1976 NPB draft, and he had a 4.24 ERA in 8 games in 1978. He pitched 19 games with a 4.50 ERA in 1979, and he only got 3 appearances in 1980. Kurosaka allowed 10 runs in 8 2/3 innings in 1981, then he had a 4.74 ERA in 15 games in 1982 and he announced his retirement.
