Biographical Information

Yukinaga Hosaka signed with the Daiei Stars in 1956, and he played 115 games with a .224/.243/.322 batting line in his first season. He then lost the competition with Keizo Tsutsui for the starting catcher spot, and he slumped to .128/.128/.170 in 1957. Hosaka only played 2 more games before he announced his retirement in 1960.
