Biographical Information

Yukihiro Sakurai was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 3rd round of the 1995 NPB draft, but he never pitched more than 8 games in his first 8 seasons. He had a 6.82 ERA in 17 appearances in 2003, and he only pitched 4 more games before he announced his retirement in 2005.
