Biographical Information[edit]
Yuki Watanabe played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 3 years.
Watanabe was drafted by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the 4th round of the 2017 NPB draft, and he primarily stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first three seasons; he only pitched a shutout inning in 2019. Watanabe had a 4.10 ERA in 9 games in 2021, and he recorded a 2.13 ERA in 13 games in 2022. The Golden Eagles then released him, and he signed with the Softbank Hawks. However, Watanabe failed to return to the top team before he announced his retirement in 2024.
