Biographical Information

Yoshiro Izumi signed with the Nankai Hawks in 1964, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first three seasons. He had a 6.75 ERA in 6 games in 1968, and he went 3-1 with a 3.58 ERA in 1969. Izumi only pitched one game in 1970, and he announced his retirement.
