Biographical Information

Yoshio Kureyama signed with the Hankyu Braves in 1958, and he only played 6 games in his first season. He hit .105/.128/.132 in 39 plate appearances over 32 games in 1959, and he recorded a .218/.233/.346 batting line in 75 games in 1960. Kureyama's batting line was .182/.266/.277 in 91 games in 1961, when he was the team's #4 outfielder, and he announced his retirement.
