Biographical Information

Yoshiaki Hino was drafted by the Taiyo Whales in the 2nd round of the 1984 NPB draft, and he only played 2 games in his first season. He was 12-for-34 in 1986, and he went 6-for-23 in 1987. Hino played 31 games with a .234/.290/.281 batting line in 1988, then he recorded a .235/.320/.365 batting line in 1989. He had a 8-for-31 record in 1990, and he announced his retirement in 1991.

Overall, Hino hit .256/.315/.336 with 61 hits in 6 seasons in NPB.
