Biographical Information[edit]
Yoji Yoshida signed with the Kintetsu Pearls in 1952, and he went 0-5 with a 3.88 ERA in his first season. He had a 1.59 ERA in 3 games in 1953, and he allowed 9 runs in 9 innings in 1954. He was released after the 1955 season, and he signed with the Takahashi Unions. Yoshida only pitched 1 1/3 innings in 1956, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Yoshida went 0-5 with a 3.77 ERA, struck out 31 and pitched 71 2/3 innings in 4 seasons in NPB.
