Biographical Information

Ye-seo Kim debuted for the South Korean women's national team in the 2023-2024 Women's Baseball World Cup. Her first game, she replaced Min-hee Choi at catcher during a loss to Hong Kong; her first plate appearance, she grounded out against Yik-Shan Hung. She was 1-for-4 with two walks, two times hit-by-pitch and one run in five games for the event, getting her hit off Australia's Ashley Patton; she fielded .800 and allowed 14 steals in 15 tries. She tied for 5th in her pool in HBP, tied for 3rd in errors (3) and was second to Choi in steals allowed.
