Biographical Information

Yasushi Niki signed with the Hankyu club in 1943, and he hit .109/.197/.126 in 42 games in his first season. He only played 3 games before he jumped to the Asahi club, and he had a .274/.337/.321 batting line in 1944. Niki then left the team, and he returned in 1949 with Hankyu. He played 46 games with a .261/.283/.336 batting line that season, and he announced his retirement.
