Biographical Information

Yasushi Funayama was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 4th round of the 1989 NPB draft, and he led the NPB Farm Leagues in ERA in 1993 and in saves in 1994. However, he only got 5 appearances for the big club before he announced his retirement in 1996.
