Biographical Information

Yasuji Hamagiwa was drafted by the Daiei Hawks in the 3rd round of the 1992 NPB draft, and he only pitched 3 games in his first two seasons. He recorded a 3.93 ERA in 32 relief outings in 1995, and he pitched 5 games with a 4.50 ERA in 1996. Hamigiwa's ERA was 4.91 in 4 games in 1997, and he had a 4.50 ERA in 14 appearances in 1998. He didn't reach the big club in 1999, and he announced his retirement.
