Biographical Information[edit]
Yasuhiro Aratake was drafted by the Nishitetsu Lions and the Toei Flyers in the first round of the second 1966 NPB draft, and the Lions won the lottery for the rights to him. He went 0-for-3 in 1967, then he had a 6-for-31 record in 1968. Aratake only got 6 at-bats in 1969, and he hit. 077/.143/.154 in 20 games in 1970. he had a .158/.158/.211 batting line in 30 appearances in 1971, then he announced his retirement.
