Biographical Information

Valentina Linares debuted for the Venezuelan women's national team in the 2023-2024 Women's Baseball World Cup. At 16 years old, she was their youngest player. Her first game, she pinch-ran for Esquia Rengel. She was retired by France's Coralie Guillemin her first time up. She finished 1-for-12 with a walk and hit-by-pitch while handling 28 chances error-free at first base. Her first hit was off Taiwan's Chiao-Chi Lai. She tied Libia Duarte for second in Pool B in putouts (26), behind Yuki Kawabata.
