Is former Magallanes pitcher Jose Villa the same guy as this Jose Villa? - --Mischa 14:29, 31 January 2013 (EST)

I don't know exactly, in the records i have access the Magallanes José Villa doesn't have any major or minor league stats!!! i can tell you that he was a right handed pitcher who also batted right, and was born in 5/16/1964

Thanks. I do see he pitched in the minors in the Mexican League - see here - --Mischa 14:44, 31 January 2013 (EST)

Lol that's our guy!!! hey now that you wrote i was kind of wandering, recently i edited the Leones del Caracas page, you know i added the retired numbers, the notable managers, and all that stuff, you even thank me for it, but then i didn't have my account, and know when i look for my contributions, how can i change that???

Is current minor leaguer Ted Obregon related to former LVBP star Teodoro Obregon? Teodoro is listed as Francisco in BR Minors - confusing! - --Mischa 16:59, 31 January 2013 (EST)

It could be, i haven't heard of something like that beeing thruth but neither saying it's false, Obregón is not a common last name in venezuela, so it could very well be related, he could also be related with Antonio Obregón another venezuelan player, but Ted even looks like Teodoro!!! he didn;t play much for Caribes this year so i didn't heard enough of of him, i will consult with some older wiser forces in here i'll answer as soon as i have a valid answer

Thanks for your contributions Carlos. It's good to see someone with good knowledge of Latin American baseball contributing to the site ! --Philippe 04:41, 1 February 2013 (EST)

Thank you Philippe, i just hope i could know even more and have more data, but here in latin america some things specially of the first eras from 1880 thru 1950's are very hard to find.. but i'll keep doing my best, for baseball, for latin america and for my beloved comunication's career
