Biographical Information

Trevin Long has been on the Swiss national team.

As the main shortstop for the Wil Devils in the 2025 Federation Cup, he hit .333/.429/.417, handled 11 chances error-free and posted a 17.50 ERA, but saved a game. In the Slovenia pool, his 8 assists trailed only Benjamin Johnson and Dimitar Nassapov. Playing for the Swiss team in the 2025 European Championship, he started at short. Hitting 9th in their opener, his first plate appearance came against Italy's Gabriele Quattrini and he hit into an error by Filippo Agretti. His first hit was a RBI single off Greece's Daniel Gosselin, part of a 4-RBI day. In six games, he batted .278/.350/.333 with two steals, two runs and four RBI. He handled 17 chances without a miscue. Only Rafael Eigenmann and Max Jung-Goldberg had more RBI for the team.
