Biographical Information

Toshiyuki Goto pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball for 5 years.

Goto was drafted by the Lotte Orions in the 5th round of the 1994 NPB draft, and he only got 11 appearances combined in his first two seasons. He went 4-2 with a 2.30 ERA in 1998, and he was 6-8 with a 4.90 ERA in 1999. Goto had a 1-6 record with a 7.32 ERA in 2000, and he announced his retirement in 2002 after staying in the NPB Farm Leagues for 2 years.

Overall, Goto was 11-16 with a 4.78 ERA, struck out 147 and pitched 210 2/3 innings in 5 seasons in NPB.
